The Petit Palais and the Tuileries Christmas Market

On December 10, 2025, students from our A1 and A2 adult French classes in Paris took part in an educational outing in the heart of the capital.
This day, designed as an extension of the French as a Foreign Language (FLE) program, allowed learners to practice French in a cultural and festive setting, while discovering iconic Parisian landmarks.

The morning began with a visit to the Petit Palais, a must‑see museum located just steps away from the Champs‑Élysées. Accompanied by their teachers, students explored the collections through activities adapted to their language level: listening comprehension, art‑related vocabulary, descriptive language, and simple oral exchanges. These concrete exercises helped beginner learners build confidence and express themselves in French in a real‑life context.

After this cultural immersion, the groups headed to the Tuileries Christmas Village, one of Paris’s most emblematic year‑end destinations.
In this festive atmosphere, students took part in outdoor language activities, practical questions, mini‑challenges in French, and interactions with their surroundings and classmates.

These moments encouraged the learning of everyday vocabulary, which is essential for A1 and A2 levels, while strengthening oral communication skills.
