Introduction: IESIG-FLE

With 20 years of experience in teaching French, IESIG-FLE has become a key player in adult education for French as a foreign language in the 13th arrondissement of the most beautiful city in the world.

We consider our mission essential, which is why our teachers are among the most experienced. Additionally, our classrooms are equipped with high-performance tools that allow us to offer courses both on-site and online. Moreover, Wi-Fi is available throughout the school, along with a study room equipped with computers for access to supplementary resources and a learners' library.

We are proud to welcome over 30 nationalities in our classrooms and online, every day, all year round.

Our center is located in Paris, at 22 rue du Tage, near the Maison Blanche stop served by lines 7 and 14 and tram 3A Porte d'Italie.

Our school is accessible to students with disabilities.

Our French classes

Part-time course

The intensive track enables rapid progress thanks to a high number of weekly hours and a steady learning pace. It promotes accelerated acquisition of language skills, both spoken and written, and provides enhanced immersion to help learners reach the next CEFR level more quickly.

At the end of the program, the learner will be able to:

  • Understand simple to complex exchanges depending on their CEFR level

  • Express themselves orally in everyday or professional situations

  • Write well‑structured texts (emails, messages, arguments)

  • Interact confidently in a French‑speaking environment

The training is aligned with the CEFR, from levels A1 to C2.

Course organization: 10 or 15 hours of general French per week
Total duration: 40 to 180 hours depending on the chosen length

Class days: Monday to Friday
Schedule: 9:00–11:00 or 9:00–12:00 or 13:30–15:30
Levels: A1 / A2 / B1 / B2 / C1

Maximum class size: 15 participants*

Prerequisites and Access Conditions

  • No prerequisites for complete beginners (A1 level).

  • A placement test is required for all other levels to confirm the learner’s CEFR level.

  • Standard classes for levels A1 and A2 last 3 hours, from 9:00 to 12:00.

  • Complete beginners must start at the beginning of a session (see calendar).

  • Learners at more advanced levels may join a class any Monday.

  • Possibility to take courses online under specific conditions.

Our teaching approach, focused on communication and real‑life practice, helps you use French confidently in real situations.

Assessment Methods

Our assessment system enables us to monitor each learner’s progress throughout the entire training period.

It combines different evaluation stages to ensure a coherent learning path adapted to each learner’s level.

  • Initial placement test

  • Continuous assessments

  • Mid‑session test

  • Final exam (oral and written)

  • Issuance of a training certificate and a grade report

Intensive course

The intensive course is divided into two complementary classes. The first, called the General French Course, focuses on improving five core skills: reading, writing, listening, grammar, and speaking.

The second is the Atelier workshop, designed to develop, reinforce, and put conversational skills into practice.

At the end of the training, the learner will be able to:

  • Quickly acquire essential language skills

  • Progress at an accelerated pace over a short period of time

The first part of the course is more focused on theoretical learning.
The second part is a workshop designed to develop, reinforce, and apply conversational skills in practice.

Course organization: 20 hours of classes per week
(10 or 15 hours of General French + 5 or 10 hours of workshop)

Total duration: 80 to 240 hours

Class days: Monday to Friday

Schedule:
9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. or 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. or 11:10 a.m. – 1:10 p.m. or 12:10 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. or 3:40 p.m. – 5:40 p.m.

Classes are grouped into blocks so that learners remain free for an entire half‑day.

Levels: A1 / A2 / B1 / B2 / C1

To obtain a visa, you must enroll in an intensive program lasting at least 9 months.

Maximum class size: 15 participants*

Oral Workshops

The conversation workshop aims to support learners in developing their oral skills through guided and regular practice.

It enables learners to:

  • Improve oral fluency

  • Develop spontaneity and pronunciation

  • Build confidence in speaking

Course organization: 5 hours per week (A1, A2) or 10 hours per week (B1, B2, C1)
Class days: Monday to Friday
Schedule: 11:10 a.m. – 1:10 p.m. or 12:10 p.m. – 1:10 p.m. or 3:40 p.m. – 5:40 p.m.
Levels: Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced
