A Memorable Cultural Excursion in the Marais District and at the Carnavalet Museum

Exploring the Carnavalet Museum

Following their immersion in the Marais, students visited the Carnavalet Museum, a true treasure for anyone interested in Parisian history.
The museum traces the evolution of Paris from its origins to the present day.

Students had the opportunity to dive into the city’s fascinating past through exhibitions highlighting major historical events and daily life during different periods. Educational activities encouraged learners to practice their language skills by answering questions, participating in discussions, and writing short texts in French.

This approach allowed students to deepen their understanding of Parisian history while strengthening their command of the French language.

The cobblestone streets of the Marais district echoed with lively discussions and laughter as our students enjoyed an unforgettable cultural excursion. Their destination : the Carnavalet Museum, an iconic venue dedicated to the history of Paris.

This outing offered a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of the rich history of the City of Light while refining their French language skills.

Discovering the Marais District

The day started with a stroll through the historic Marais, one of Paris’s most picturesque neighborhoods.
Students admired medieval architecture, charming squares, and hidden streets while teachers shared anecdotes about the area’s history, including its role during the French Revolution, a key period in French history.

A meaning full learning experience

Back at school, students shared their discoveries with classmates during a classroom recap session.
